Why I Swear by Infrared Sauna for My Detox + Daily Reset Routine?

One of my favorite tools that I return to again and again? Infrared sauna.

This isn’t just another wellness trend for me. Infrared sauna has become a non-negotiable part of my routine—and for good reason.

A Safe Space to Sweat (And I Mean Really Sweat)

Unlike traditional saunas that heat the air around you, infrared saunas use gentle light waves to heat your body from the inside out. That means a deep, detoxifying sweat—without the stifling heat.

I started using infrared sauna during my mold healing protocol. My system needed a gentle yet powerful way to eliminate toxins without overstressing my body. The results? Noticeable. Not just physically, but mentally and emotionally, too.

This part’s huge for me. The soothing heat feels like a warm hug for my nervous system – like, no joking around here! On those days when life feels loud and overwhelming, I can step into the sauna and drop in. It’s 30 minutes of peace (sometimes I go full throttle at 45 minutes!), grounding, and reconnection with my body.

When we talk about toxic-free living, we’re not just talking about products. We’re talking about stress, trauma, and overstimulation—things that don’t come in plastic bottles but are just as harmful. The sauna helps me clear all of that.

Let’s not ignore the vanity benefits—I glow after a session. My skin feels clearer, my eyes brighter, and my mood lighter. Infrared sauna boosts circulation and collagen production, making it a go-to before events or shoots. But beyond that, it’s the long-term benefits I care most about: reduced inflammation, immune support, better sleep, and hormone balance.

Here are some fun facts that I geek out on: Infrared sauna is one of the most effective ways to release heavy metals, pesticides, mold toxins, and everyday pollutants that build up in our bodies. I pair my sauna sessions with hydration (clean water + minerals always), dry brushing beforehand, and sometimes a cold shower OR plunge in the pool or ocean afterward to really boost the benefits.
